What is a map? Can there be a cartography that is not instrumental but affective?
Guided by the symbolic figure of a pigeon — a creature often marginalized yet a master of connection and orientation — audience and performers move from places of the past, intimate and heavy with memory, to an unknown, collective present that they must trace together.
Bio
Margherita Celestino lives between Italy and Belgium. She is a performer, author, and dramaturgy assistant for several projects, including Vanishing Manifesto by Silvia Galletti. Her choreographic research is supported by Around a Process of Making (Marosi, Stromboli) and Incubatore per future coreografie – CIMD Danza (Milan). She also curates the Sharing Training/Palermo project and is currently studying philosophy.
