Trespass_Tales of the Unexpected
Marta Olivieri
Trespass_Tales of the Unexpected utilises a perceptual multiplication that thinks of accessibility as an integration and amplification of reception. The performance can be enjoyed from different viewpoints and listened to through various soundtracks, thus creating a unique experience for each spectator. The sound spatialisation emphasises the sensations, creating an amniotic atmosphere where voices, noises, gestures and music merge. The audience is invited to reflect on the nature of storytelling and the concepts of reality, fantasy, power and ability. Choreography and storytelling come to life spontaneously through the various perceptive channels that allow the work to manifest itself in multiple communicating forms. An experience accessible to blinded, visually impaired and sighted people.

Bio
Marta Olivieri is a creator, performer and Somatic Movement Educator. Oblique posture – onstage and through the audience’s eyes – is one of the key elements of her work, as much as the investigations of nostalgia, uncertainty and displacement. She desires to work more and more on the poetry of inclination: not being in axis, not looking nor moving for a frontal experience corresponds to taking another posture in the world. A posture that makes obliquity and displacement its new, precarious, shifting axis. Marta is the author of the performative work Trespass in its two versions: Trespass_processing an emerging choreography and Trespass_tales of the unexpected. She is currently starting a new artistic research with the singer Juliana Azevedo.
