Atmosferologia – Veduta is the most recent project by gruppo mk, under the artistic direction of Michele di Stefano. This performance is centred around the city it takes place in, and the way we view urban landscapes. During the performance, the audience wear headphones and watch from a specific panoramic point. By listening to the performance, the urban view is transformed into a place that is both present and possible. Spectators are immersed in a landscape that is not limited to what they see. Instead, like a sacred allegory, it becomes a concentration of coincidences and configurations that seems to refer to something else. The performance investigates postures and signs of an elsewhere through short dances that may be very near or very far on the horizon. Strange conspiracies and mysterious activities redesign the here and now to reread urbanity.
