Cristina Kristal Rizzo e Diana Anselmo
A body simply being a body. Monumentum DA is a danced narrative that explores the expressive potential of Italian Sign Language (LIS), intertwining it with choreographic movement. A performance that transcends the boundaries between language and expression, between sign and dance, opening a shared space where diversity becomes creation. A living monument to the communicative power of bodies.

Bio Cristina Kristal Rizzo
Based in Florence, Cristina Kristal Rizzo has been active on the contemporary dance scene since the 1990s. Co-founder of the historic collective Kinkaleri, she has pursued an independent choreographic path since 2008, merging theoretical inquiry with dynamic impact. She has created works for major Italian and international institutions and received awards such as the Ubu Prize and Danza&Danza. Her artistic practice includes education, writing, and curatorial projects.
Bio Diana Anselmo
Diana Anselmo is a Deaf performer, artist, and activist, bilingual in LIS and Italian. She debuted with Autoritratto in 3 atti (2021), collaborated with Xavier Le Roy, and presented solo exhibitions. Working with Cristina Kristal Rizzo since 2023, she is president of Al.DI.Qua. Artists, the first European association of disabled artists, and is committed to promoting inclusive and accessible practices in the performing arts.
