Carried by a single voice in which many others resonate, Dorothée whispers essential stories, bringing buried memories to the surface and revealing their collective, transformative, profoundly vital force. Through Rwandan songs and other repertoires performed in several languages, she delicately yet powerfully weaves a precious fabric, holding together absence and presence, past and future.

Bio
Dorothée Munyaneza is a multi-disciplinary artist using music, song, text and movement to create spaces of resonance and hope.
Drawing from the diversity of her cultural heritage – her childhood in Rwanda, the 14 years in London, her move to Paris followed by her settling in Marseille -, her creations are weaving dialogues with guest companions to carry and celebrate the voices of those who are silenced and reveal the scars of history.
