LIMBO – how low can you go? is a performance that traverses the threshold between the visible and the invisible, presence and disappearance, death and the afterlife. Inspired by the Caribbean limbo dance and its symbolism of descending into the beyond, as well as by The Dying Swan as an act of surrendering verticality and moving towards the ground, the choreography unfolds within a space of fragility and transition, taking the form of a farewell gesture.
Bio
Fabritia D’Intino (Foligno, 1986) is a choreographer and dancer. Her practice primarily explores the relationship between the body, the gaze, and representation. Her choreographic works, often created in collaboration with other artists, are presented in a variety of international contexts. Alongside creating stage and site-specific works, she develops research formats and educational projects.
