Created in Yerevan through years of research and encounters with Armenian artists and communities,

Fatigue is a choral, vocal and physical performance about the act of moving forward. Evoking both a climb and a procession, the work places breath and song at the origin of the choreography. A body made up of many bodies faces the fatigue of a physical and spiritual journey, where visions and traces of lost or abandoned people and places may emerge.

Ascent is usually used as a metaphor for achieving a goal, or even conquering new territories. But what if there were no summit to reach, and the undertaking took place on an infinitely flat surface? Fatigue places bodies and voices under strain, in a space that is at once one of struggle and mutual support. Together, they create an ephemeral refuge before the journey continues, beyond the gaze.
