Preview
The performance evokes the suspended atmosphere of places where bodies are brought together in a state of forced proximity: a waiting room, an antechamber, the backstage area of a theatre. What emerges is a complex and fragile environment, shaped by layered agreements and symbiotic relationships, a kind of coral reef that continuously negotiate and resolves its own fragility.
Bio
MK group, led by Michele Di Stefano, has worked in choreography and performance since 2000 and revolves around a core of shared and cross-disciplinary projects. Di Stefano received the Silver Lion for Innovation in Dance at the Venice Biennale in 2014 and the 2019 UBU Award for Bermudas_forever. His creations explore constantly changing performative formats and devices, from the rehearsal room to urban spaces.
