When I was little, my sister believed that a swan was the male version of a duck, and I believed that a pear was an apple with a handle. I was told that some things were not true, but there are others I still do not know about. If you plant a tree upside down, do the branches become roots and the roots become branches? When do we sort through what we were told as children and decide?
