Mondo means “world” or “earth”, but it also refers to the game of hopscotch, and the opposite of immondo (“impure”). This work begins with an observation of our obsession with achievement.

Our relentless pursuit of completion, climax, and a definitive narrative of ourselves; our unspoken desire to become fixed, finished things.

And then there is breath: the endless thread running through all our moments and fragments.

Mondo is the resilience of a child playing hopscotch in a courtyard. It is the never-final purity that emerges through the continuous act of shaping oneself. 

It is the “totality of facts, not of things.”
